About Ellesense

Hi! I’m Maisie Methuen, founder of Ellesense and a former international gymnast for Wales and Great Britain.

Gymnastics has been my life since the age of seven. I was proud to represent Wales at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and competed for Great Britain in major events such as the Junior European Championships, European Youth Olympics, World Cups, and multiple British Championships. I spent eight years as part of the GB national squad, training at the Welsh National Centre under national coaches.

Through all of those years of training and competing, I developed a deep understanding of what gymnasts truly need in a leotard — from fabric feel to fit, movement, and, of course, sparkle!

That’s why I created Ellesense Gymnastics Leotards — a brand built on performance, comfort, and confidence. Every design is made to stand out, feel great, and make gymnasts look and feel beautiful both in training and on the competition floor.
